It was sent to San Juan Motors in Daytona Beach, Florida to compete at the 1955 NASCAR Speed Week, finishing 2nd in its class behind Carl Kiekhaefer’s Chrysler C-300 (Vin #1002) and 1st in the women’s production passenger class driven by Vicki Wood. Vicki also recorded the 3rd fastest time in the car’s class against both men and women.
